Serving Hawaii since 1960, New Eagle Cafe has become an Island favorite known for its tasty local-style dishes and comfortable, family-friendly setting. Also perfect for staying away from crowds of tourists, the eatery conveniently is located along Nimitz Highway.
Owner Tae Im took over operations in 2012 and has continued the restaurant’s legacy of serving delicious local favorites along with great customer service ever since. Additionally, New Eagle Cafe offers Early Bird Specials every day from 3 to 5 p.m. When dining in, you can receive special pricing on various dishes such as Spaghetti with Meat Sauce ($9.60), Fish Katsu ($10.45) and Hawaiian Chopped Steak ($10.65). Also, throughout spring and summer, kids (10 years and under) eat free on Mondays with the purchase of an adult entrée (this is limited to one child per adult, and includes items only on the Keiki Menu).
SERVED HOT AND SPICY
Head over to New Eagle Cafe and try its Spicy Pork and Garlic Chicken. For $14, Spicy Pork will be sure to satisfy your taste buds, as the pork is marinated in a Korean-style spicy sauce. The dish comes sizzling hot and is topped off with green and white onions.
Next is a local favorite. New Eagle Cafe’s Garlic Chicken ($12.50) includes fried boneless chicken lathered in garlic sauce and topped with green onions and sesame seeds. This dish is served with hot vegetables and your choice of either rice (white or brown), mashed potatoes or french fries.
