Start 2016 off right by eating healthy — and sticking to your budget — at Canton Seafood Restaurant. The eatery is featuring several different specials for all of January.

“We want to say ‘Happy New Year’ to all of our customers,” says restaurant manager He Gong.

The Steamed Sea Bass Fillet with Ginger and Green Onions ($12.99 regular) is a popular customer choice because of its health benefits. With the purchase of a regularly priced entrée, you can get it for $9.99.

“This dish is popular because it’s not deep fried,” Gong says. “The sea bass is steamed with our own house-made sauce, and ginger is also good for the body.”

The restaurant also is promoting Seafood Fried Noodle ($9.99 regular) for only $7.99. The entrée features fish fillet, squid, scallops, shrimp, choy sum and carrots over crispy, Hong Kong-style noodles.

“This dish is very popular because of its value; it’s very reasonable for what you get,” Gong confirms.

He also recommends the Crispy Chicken Oyster Sauce Fried Noodles ($7.99 regular) for $6.99.

“You can get it either on rice or on fried noodles,” Gong explains. “Some people don’t like noodles, so rice is available as well.”

Finally, Canton Crispy Chicken ($12.99 regular, half chicken) still reigns as one of the most popular dishes, and with the purchase of a regularly priced entrée, customers can enjoy it for $4.99.

Gong also points out that Canton Seafood Restaurant has a special menu for lunch and late-night specials. Lunch specials are available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., while late-night specials run from 9 to 10 p.m.

“We have over 50 choices from $6.99 and up,” Gong says. “We always order the best seafood and meat, and our chef makes sure everything we serve is good quality.”
