Feast away on delicious lunch-menu deals

With the holiday season now in full swing, that means an uptick in get-togethers with friends and colleagues. And, if you’re looking for a good deal for your next lunch gathering, Seafood Village Chinese Cuisine has you covered with its Kamaaina Lunch Party Menu for $11.95 per person (with a minimum of 10 people).

“You are going to be hard-pressed to find a better deal. It is unbeatable,” says manager Yao Ming Guan. “It’s very popular for celebrations of just about any kind.”

The party menu is stocked with a selection of what Guan says are some of Seafood Village’s most popular items, like Salt and Pepper Calamari.

“It’s lightly breaded and deep fried in the wok with a touch of chili peppers, scallions and garlic,” Guan explains of the dish.

Another offering you’ll find included in the menu is Minute Chicken Fried Noodle, which features lightly pan-fried chicken served over crispy Hong Kong-style noodles and choy sum. It’s all accented with a sweet shoyu and garlic sauce.

And, what is lunch at a Chinese restaurant without dim sum? Well, the party menu also has four different kinds of made-to-order dim sum: Steamed Barbecue Pork Bun, Shrimp and Chive Dump-ling, Pork Hash and Seafood Dumpling.

Other dishes in the party menu include Chicken Salad, Stir-Fried String Bean, Sweet and Sour Pork with Pineapple and for dessert, Mango Pudding.

If all of that isn’t enough of a draw to start planning your next party, also know that Seafood Village has four private rooms and can accommodate parties of up to 200 people. Seafood Village recommends making reservations in advance (at least a day ahead) for parties.

“It’s a great reason to get together — and nothing beats family-style Chinese dining,” Guan says. “Everyone can share and break bread together — or, I should say, break dim sum together.”
