Pizza is one of those comfort food indulgences I make sure to satiate regularly. And when I don’t want to worry about sacrificing flavor and gooey cheese in the name of my figure, I go to Zpizza.
“At Zpizza, making pizza is a culinary art, and we use only fresh, high-quality and natural ingredients,” shares owner Cesar Llarenas.
In addition to the fresh vegetables used daily, the restaurant only uses 100 percent certified organic wheat flower, and 100 percent certified organic tomato sauce. Not to mention, natural chicken that is farmed without antibiotics and growth hormones, and pepperoni that does-n’t contain MSG, nitrates or other additives.
For a limited time until the end of December, Zpizza will be offering Pepperoni Caprese Pizza ($13.25 for small, $24.50 for large, $27.75 for extra-large). After a pizza containing pepperoni, roasted peppers and mozzarella cheese is cooked (without tomato sauce), it is topped with pili pili sauce (pepper-infused olive oil) and fresh basil.
If you’re in the mood for something else, Zpizza also offers fresh salads. Also available for a limited time until the end of December, Apple Fresco Salad ($8.50 for small and $10.95 for large) consists of mixed greens, dried cranberries, slices of gala apples, almonds and goat cheese. You’ll also get to choose your own dressing from a selection of balsamic vinaigrette, ranch, Italian or chipotle.
Vegetarians, vegans or those allergic to gluten shouldn’t shirk away from the restaurant because Zpizza has you covered with an extensive list of options to choose from.
