Shabu Shabu Bangkok opened its doors last fall in Kapahulu, and in addition to shabu shabu, patrons can order off the Thai cuisine menu. Chef Urai prepares an abundance of authentic Thai entrees to satisfy every appetite, whether it’s spring rolls that you’re craving or spicy curry.

However, the most famous of Sananikone’s Thai cuisine is the Evil Jungle Prince. This entree combines the flavors of fresh basil, coconut milk and red chili, served atop a bed of chopped cabbage. Customers may personalize their order with shrimp ($14.96), chicken ($12.95) or with vegetables and tofu ($9.95).
