Pancake Blues ($10.99)

Good food is fuel for the soul, according to the late bon vivant Malcolm Forbes.

If that’s true, then breakfast from Ruby Tuesday delivers plenty of sweet soul nourishment. Its uniquely delicious breakfast menu is served daily from 8 to 11 a.m.

“Our Hashtag Skillet ($12.99) is served in a cast-iron skillet, loaded with chunks of corned beef, potatoes, peppers, onions and a touch of fresh garlic,” says Eddie Arnold, director of operations for Ruby Tuesday’s Hawaii locations. “We top that with two poached eggs and Hollandaise sauce. It’s really a delicious twist on corned beef hash.”

Nourishing and scrumptious, the Hashtag Skillet is served with your choice of white rice, hash browns, sliced tomatoes or fresh fruit.

New on the menu, and satisfying for a sweet tooth: Pancake Blues ($10.99), a blueberry lover’s fantasy breakfast.

“It consists of a pair of oversized pancakes with blueberries inside and out, topped with berry puree, whipped cream and powdered sugar,” Arnold says. Add bacon, sausage patty, Portuguese sausage, Spam or corned beef for just $3.99.

Or try the Strawberry Waffles ($9.99), Ruby Tuesday’s tantalizing golden brown waffle topped with strawberries, whipped cream and powdered sugar.

Other tempting options include two kinds of eggs Benedict (including one with avocado, tomato and mushrooms), Banana Mac Nut Pancakes, Acai Bowls,

Steak and Eggs, and French Toast Hawaiian Style (with Hawaiian sweet bread).

Early risers flock to Ruby Tuesday for the yummy Early Bird Breakfast, available Monday through Saturday between 8 and 9 a.m.

“It consists of two eggs, two strips of bacon, a scoop of rice, two biscuits and coffee, all for just $5.99. So it pays to wake up early!” Arnold chuckles. “The early bird gets to eat a great breakfast for a great price.”
