Whether celebrating a special occasion or enjoying the “thrill of the grill” any day of the week, Camellia Buffet serves up a collection of Korean-inspired local favorites on its all-you-can-eat buffet. The popular establishment specializes in quality dishes prepared yakiniku-style on tabletop grills.
Guests count on Camellia Buffet for hearty meals, great value and excellent service, as the dining destination at 930 McCully St. remains affordable and offers an enjoyable experience for the entire family. The buffet is available daily during lunch (10:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m.) and dinner (2:30-10 p.m.) for just $15.99 (lunch, Monday-Friday), $18.99 (lunch, Saturday and Sunday) and $26.99 (dinner), while children ages 4-10 receive discounted rates of $9.99 (lunch) and $13.99 (dinner).
The buffet line (items may vary) at Camellia includes bulgogi (marinated barbecue beef), spicy pork, barbecue chicken, teriyaki chicken and both boneless and bone-in short ribs, as well as pork steak. Diners rave about pork belly, which is similar to thick-cut bacon and is usually enjoyed lightly grilled so the meat remains tender and soft.
Additionally, multiple side dishes including kimchee, chap chae (Korean noodles), fried vegetables, multiple soups, fruits and salads, and even mini seafood pancakes, are available.
Camellia Buffet owner Shawna Kim recently brought in a new cook to lead the heart-of-the-house team, who has nearly 20 years of experience in the kitchen. This is evident by some of the rotating special dishes on the dinner buffet, including shrimp, mussels, calamari, clams and even soft-shell crab.
Seniors and members of the military receive a 10 percent discount (with valid I.D.) throughout the year, and as a reminder, these special offers are available Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
But really, no matter the day, customers will always leave happy and full.
