Finally, the restaurant’s most popular dish, the Combo Set-A, features signature ramen with four pieces of gyoza, miniature fried rice, chicken katsu, Spam katsu, and mochiko chicken or beef curry.
“We continue to evolve and bring new and fresh items for our guests,” says president Dor- othy Lee. “Fans young and old continue to rave: ‘Everyone of all ages loves Ramen-Ya ... from keiki to kupuna.’”
Founded in 2007, the eatery has been voted one of the best places to get ramen in Honolulu Star-Advertiser’s Hawaii’s Best awards for the past 10 years, according to Lee. And, since 2010, the restaurant has opened five additional locations across Oahu. Ramen-Ya also offers gift certificates and catering.
“When we conceived of Ramen-Ya, we felt we could bring ramen dining to another level,” Lee says. “Our tagline is ‘Let Ramen-Ya be your second kitchen!’ ”
