With silk curtains and large paper lanterns along with an array of authentic ramen and delicious drinks and desserts, Camado Ramen Tavern is one of Waikiki’s newest establishments offering family-friendly Japanese food.
Stop in for lunchtime specials through- out the month of November. Juicy home- made Pork Gyoza is 50% off ($4 lunch special, $8 normal price). What a deal for five pieces! Or make it a meal with a Gyoza Set ($9 lunch special, $12 normal price), which includes homemade gyoza, rice, chicken soup and kimchi.
To wash down the delectable dump- lings, a pint of Kirin Ichiban from the tap is suggested ($3.50 lunch special, $7 normal price).
For keiki under age 10, there’s a special menu with kid-sized portions and flavors. The Kids Ramen & Juice Set ($3.50 lunch special, $7 normal price) is always a fa- vorite and offers a choice of Tonkotsu Ra- men or Shoyu Ramen. For Camado Family Sunday, the Kids Ramen & Juice Set is free!
