The Forty Niner Restaurant was opened by brothers Richard and Henry Chigami when they returned from WWII and was named after the gold rush in hopes that people would rush in. Later in 2007, Wil Cordes, the current owner, would carry the legacy of the Forty Niner Restaurant and continue emphasize caring service, great food, reasonable prices at a convenient location.
Local food made by local people since 1947
Forty Niner was built on serving the ultimate old-school comfort foods such as a variety of saimin and burgers, and now, Cordes has made some minor changes to the restaurant and expanded the menu to breakfast with pancakes, waffles, french toast and rotating specialty items. Enjoy deliciously crafted meals where you can enjoy your food in a relaxing environment and great company!
