Situated on the picturesque pool deck of The Modern Ho- nolulu, tucked away from the
hustle and bustle of central Waiki- ki and downtown Honolulu, The Grove Restaurant & Bar provides a relaxed, open-air dining expe- rience under an iconic tree grove.
With world-famous Waikiki Beach providing an idyllic back- drop, The Grove Restaurant serves classic American favorites with a modern Pacific Rim flair, while The Grove Bar’s signature handcrafted cocktails evoke nostalgia with a contemporary twist.
“We are proud of our partner- ship with local farms, breweries and distilleries, which ensures we are showcasing the best of what the islands have to offer,” says chef

The restaurant and bar re- launched its popular Happy Hour, from 3 to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and have recently made new additions to its collection of spe- cials. The new Happy Hour menu consists of draft beers for $5, a ro- tating Manager’s Special cocktail of the week for $10 and eight delicious food offerings. “We want our guests to walk away from a dining experience with us feeling the need to plan their next visit!” says The Modern Honolulu as- sistant general manager Kristin Tani. “We strive to provide consistently great food paired with a memora- ble atmosphere and personalized 4 service in the spirit of aloha.
“Our kamaaina diners are very important to us! We recognize many have a long drive from different parts of the island and Waikiki may not be an ideal choice for residents; but now with restrictions lifted, we offer the perfect open-air, oceanfront venue for those more comfortable with dining outdoors.”
