In 1971, one man started a portable vendor stall and sold ramen on the streets of Kyoto, Japan. Later, he would open his first restaurant specializing in ramen noodles called Kotteri ramen. Fast forward 22 years, Tenkaippin Ramen opened their first and only location overseas in Hawai’i.

Our owner chef carefully trained in Japan and learned how to prepare authentic comforting bowls of Ramen. We specialize in many types of ramen, both authentic and unique flavors, like Spicy Tantan, Spicy Horumon, Kotteri, Assari and much more. A savory, almost gravy-like chicken broth enhanced
with hints of ginger and garnished with thinly sliced pork belly, chinese cabbage and green onions. Our noodles are specially crafted to be thick and bouncy in order to perfectly pair with our broth.
