As part of the largest chain in the retail convenience indus- try with over 77,000 stores worldwide, 7-Eleven Hawaii continues to please local customers with a vast array of
food and beverage selections at 65 locations across Oahu, the Big Island, Kauai and Maui.
The first 7-Eleven in Hawaii opened in April 1978, and that store on 2nd Avenue is still in operation today. After 7-Eleven Japan purchased the Hawaii operation in 1989, the local stores shifted to a customer-driven focus, offering products that local clientele want, where they want to buy them.
“We are constantly evolving to elevate convenience for our customers,” says 7-Eleven Hawaii food innovation and development manager Debbie Lee Soon. “I think people who stop in can find themselves surprised at some of our offerings. There are small delights at each section of our store, whether it is a local- ly crafted SLURPEE flavor, master sommelier wines, or our Seven Premium snacks import- ed from Japan. We constantly look forward to being a top convenience destination for our
local customers.”
7-Eleven Hawaii rolled out a collection of
new catering menu items in November featur- ing some of its bestsellers, which serve between 10–12 people, as well as new Ohana Packs that serve four to six and can be enjoyed as pupus or a main dish.
Ohana Chef Sal- ad ($16.99 Oahu; $18.99 neighbor islands) is built with mixed romaine and green leaf lettuce, grape tomatoes, cut boiled egg, diced cucumber, shredded ham, shredded tur- key, shredded carrots, shred- ded cheddar Jack cheese and ranch dressing.
