As we enter fall, the desire for warm dishes increases, and there’s no bet- ter way to placate those cravings than
with a steaming bowl of deliciousness from Ramen-Ya.
Founded in 2007 on Maui, locations on Oahu soon followed.
“Our partners saw that the ramen noodle concept was well-received,” shares presi- dent Dorothy Lee. “We felt we could raise the concept to another level — broadening the menu to fit the local family and taste buds of all ages with affordable meals, served in a clean, modern atmosphere.”
Popular menu items include the Tonkotsu Ramen ($12.50), made with fresh, savory pork broth; and the creamy Tan Tan Ramen ($11.95) that packs a little heat. Lee notes that the eat- ery’s assortment of Japanese curry dishes are also in high demand.
“I love our Combo A ($12.95),” Lee states, when asked what her favorite menu item is.
