If you haven’t eaten at TsuruTon- Tan, here’s another good reason to try its food: the Waikiki restaurant
just launched a new takeout menu this month and it’s worth a slurp.
Available seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., the menu uses the same made-fresh ingredients as its dine-in selections. There’s fish, home- made karaage, tonkatsu and more — all accompanied by a full-sized udon.
“Each bowl can also be upgraded for a more luxurious udon, available for an (added) price,” says general manager Takuma Lathrop.
He recommends customers to put in their takeout orders early, as the menu is popular.
