When our owner, Eiji Kato, first moved to O`ahu he found it difficult to find authentic Japanese food. After gaining experience working at different restaurants he took his love for cooking further and decided to open Junpuu, a ramen- based Japanese restaurant.

Eiji uses his experience to create his own versions of ramen that are truly unique. Everything is made by scratch everyday using only fresh high-quality ingredients ensuring that each dish is equally as delicious. Our most popular item is the Tantan Men. The base of our Tantan Men is tonkotsu (pork bone) broth which is simmered for 16 hours. Eiji guarantees that Junpuu is committed to providing unique, high-quality ramen for every customer.
