For the past 20 years, Shingen was located at
Waikiki Beach Walk. Due to the pandemic, we closed our restaurant. However, from our loyal customers’ request, we reopened our restaurant on South King Street, allowing our old and new customers to enjoy our food again.
While the buckwheat flour used in our soba noodles are from Hokkaido, our noodles are locally made in Hawai‘i. We have partnered with Hiroo’s Curry, a popular curry restaurant in Tokyo! You can enjoy delicious Hiroo’s curry at our restaurant that incorporates an oxtail broth base boiled for hours.

Cold Soba with Tempura
Our most popular and signature dish, a set menu which includes soba with dipping sauce and crispy shrimp and vegetable tempura. The soba can be substituted with either Moringa soba, Ube udon, or regular udon. We promise you will enjoy this meal!
