Today is Sunday, June 20, which also hap- pens to be Father’s Day. What better occasion than to treat that admired dad with the aptly named Father’s Day Special ($12.95), avail- able today at Shiro’s Saimin Haven’s Waimalu location only.
Offered for dine-in or take- out, this hearty plate features mochiko chicken and chili, along with your choice of starch — ranging from french fries, rice or mashed pota- toes. The meal also comes with a side of corn, and mac salad is available for an ad- ditional dollar.
Besides its Father’s Day feast, Shiro’s has plenty of other popular dishes on its regular daily dine-in menu.
For example, there’s the Fried Rice Omelette with Pork Adobo on the break- fast menu ($11.50). This item features flavorful fried rice
