satisfied her cravings. Un- able to find what exactly she wanted, Tournis-Vage- nas began to craft her own ‘corn’coction, leading to the creation of Island Popper.
“I didn’t want kettle corn — I wanted that rich cara- mel and cheese,” shares Tournis-Vagenas.
“So we developed Chi- cago-style popcorn with a local twist,” she adds.
Named Maui Mix, the pop- corn is coated in dark cara- mel and cheese, boasting a flavor that goes beyond just sweet and salty.
