Wolfgang’s Steak- house was created by Wolfgang Zwie- ner 40-plus years ago. With the knowledge and expertise he acquired as head waiter at the world-famous Peter Luger Steak House, many locals and visitors anticipated the opening of the Waikiki location in 2009.
With more than 26 locations all over the world, I was able to
experience the level of service and understand what makes this restaurant extraordinary.
AL: When did Wolfgang’s Steak- house first open its doors in Waikiki? How many other loca- tions are there?
DP: Since opening in Hawaii in February 2009, Wolfgang’s Steakhouse by Wolfgang Zwie- ner at Royal Hawaiian Center
continues to be raved about for its phenomenal food, including USDA Prime-grade beef, which is dry-aged on-site, and excep- tional service. On Oct. 26, 2020, Wolfgang’s Steakhouse by Wolf- gang Zwiener opened its third location in China, and second in Beijing. This was the 26th Wolfgang Steakhouse opening globally across nine different countries and three continents;
it was the 15th in Asia and over the next six months, Wolfgang’s will be opening three more, all al- ready under construction — one being a fourth unit in China — in the Ping’an Building, in the Futian District of Shenzhen. The others willbeintheGentingHighlands, Pahang, Malaysia, and Boston in the U.S.
