Local diners of all ages are “all aboard” the train as the Genki Sushi Bullet Express continues to bring flavor and fun to patrons across Hawaii.

The restaurant’s popular delivery system helps guests enjoy its diverse menu that includes daily and seasonal specials. By taking the Japanese sushi tradition to new levels, Genki Sushi is an innovator in the culinary community after initially popularizing kaiten sushi — translated to mean “revolving,” as the popular selections became famous for being served on a conveyor belt.

Most Genki Sushi locations across the state offer the double-rail, bullet train sushi delivery configuration for convenient, ultra-fast ordering — a great way to identify and select one’s favorite choices. As part of the train-ordering process, diners can place orders via a touch-screen panel and receive their fresh sushi favorites tableside.

Ultimate Trio ($6.05)

Fried Squid Combo ($4.25) is one of Genki’s best-selling items with squid rings and legs cooked to golden-brown perfection atop a bed of cabbage along with lemon.

Genki Sushi offers a wide variety of nigiri, gunkan and roll sushi dishes, from simple favorites to extravagant creations. Spicy Tuna Roll ($4.25) is a go-to choice, as is Seared Spicy Salmon ($4.25). California Roll and Spicy California Roll ($3.35 each) are crafted with imitation crab, avocado and cucumber.

Rainbow Roll ($6.05) is nearly as colorful as it is flavorful: ahi, salmon and avocado are placed atop the roll with imitation crab and cucumber in the middle of this specialty sushi. Ultimate Trio ($6.05) offers a delicious three-piece assortment with seared ahi, hamachi and salmon served with garlic and unagi sauce.

In addition to the great value across the menu, Genki Sushi also offers a 10% discount for military members and seniors age 55 and older.The discount is available Sunday through Thursday on dine-in orders only (unless the store is offering takeout service only), and diners must show valid photo identification; this offer may not be combined with any other discounts or promotions.
