Oxtail Pho ($14.95)

Whether you want breakfast, lunch or dinner, Fairwood Drive Inn & Pho 27 Cafe has something that’s sure to satisfy any craving.

According to Tiffany Ko, the owner of the two establishments, locals can find a variety of dishes on the Fairwood and Pho 27 menus. For diners looking for a local favorite, Ko recommends Oxtail Pho ($14.95).

“A lot of local people are familiar with oxtail soup, and we always have the Oxtail Pho on our menu,” she says. “The Oxtail Pho is made with peanuts, mushrooms, cabbage, carrots and ginger.”

Fish and Shrimp ($11.95)

For those who want a plate lunch-type of entree, Ko suggests Fish and Shrimp ($11.95), which comes with two scoops of rice and mac salad. Ko says New York Steak and Fried Shrimp ($14.95) also is a popular option.

“The New York Steak is an 8-ounce steak and there are five pieces of shrimp,” she explains. “The steak is topped with grilled onions and it comes with tartar sauce for the shrimp.”

Ko wants customers to know that Fairwood Drive Inn serves breakfast all day as well. The breakfast menu features local favorites like Spam and Eggs with Rice ($6.95) and Corned Beef Hash with Rice ($8.50).

Ko adds that Fairwood Drive Inn & Pho 27 Café sells jai all year long.

“Not many people sell jai for the whole year,” she says. “Our Jai with Rice plate is $9.25, a la carte (side order) is $9.75. Many places sell it for $13-$14, but our prices are reasonable.

“Be sure to stop by our restaurant and check out our special for the month,” Ko adds. “We have Pig Feet on Rice ($10.95) for all of May. We also do catering, which is perfect for any grad party.”
