A CLOSER LOOK AT THIS WEEK’S HOUSE SPECIAL: NEW YORK CUT STEAK LUNCH SPECIAL ($11.09)

Rocky Japanese Steak Teppan Restaurant has a November lineup of fun contests, special pricing, dessert giveaways, entertainment and more. Specials have been added to the agenda to celebrate the restaurant’s — also known as as Rocky’s Teppanyaki — one-year anniversary. Get fired up at the teppanyaki-style restaurant, which features an iron griddle right at the dining table where a chef puts on a fiery, cooking show for guests.

From Nov.1-30, November babies (those with a birthday this month) will get a free dessert with any entree purchase. During the same timeframe diners can enter to win a $300 dinner gift certificate when stopping in for lunch, happy hour or dinner.

Other specials include live music by Gigi with Keiki Hula Dancers Nov. 9, 6-9 p.m., and Bottomless Beer day on Nov. 23 featuring $10 all-you-can-drink beer for one hour at Rocky’s lanai area.

Every Saturday of the month offers an $11.09 New York Cut Steak lunch special for the first 30 people ($25.75 regular price).

Rocky’s also has daily specials, such as happy hour where diners can enjoy 50 percent off drinks from 5 to 7 p.m. on the patio.

Unlike many spots in Waikiki, Rocky’s offers four hours of free parking — a perk for kamaaina who know the struggle of circling for parking.

Guests can get in on this rockin’ deal at Rocky’s Teppanyaki every Saturday this month, so be sure to get there before it opens at 11:30 a.m.! The regular price of the set is $25.75, coming in at more than 50 percent off.

As part of the Waikiki restaurant’s one-year anniversary celebration, the first 30 people can dine on these tender chunks of Angus strip loin for just $11.09 (11/09 is the official date of Rocky’s anniversary).
