Diners can set sail on a wonderful culinary adventure at Yamada Chikara.
The restaurant opened on Aug. 19, 2018, and it features “Japanese-style European food,” a melding of the ingredients and tastes of the two cultures into an enticing fusion. For example, diners can experience the flavors of dishes like the Chirashi Sushi, or the Inaniwa Udon with Plum and Tomato Soup.
This secluded eatery features minimalist decor, and an understated atmosphere punctuated by rustic wooden tables that highlight the meals.
Each course is crafted painstakingly to enhance the flavors and eye appeal of the dishes. From a special occasion, a relaxed gathering of friends or a romantic get-together, Yamada Chikara offers gastronomic delights for the discerning guest.
Creative multi-course meals are also available with many options to choose from. Patrons can start their meals with Oshinogi such as sesame tofu or miso soup. Customers also have a selection of cocktails, appetizers and main dishes. Yamada Chikara also features exquisite desserts such as Roasted Tea Tiramisu and Ice Cream.
One of the signature dishes at the eatery is the Beef Tongue in Red Wine Stew ($20). This item features flavorful chunks of beef tongue in a red wine reduction accompanied by an array of vegetables. Another magnificent choice for meat eaters is the delicately tender Wagyu Steak with Original Soy Sauce and Yuzu Pepper ($80).
There are also beautifully plated noodle dishes with flair offered at Yamada Chikara, such as the Scallop Capellini with Tomato and Basil Sauce ($16). The pasta in this dish perfectly complements the succulent shellfish, tomatoes and herbs.
For those who crave the freshest seafood, the chefs at the restaurant skillfully present the popular item Sashimi “Yamada Chikara” style and Soy Sauce Nube (market price).
