Chicken Salad Sandwich, left, and Egg Salad Sandwich

This week, 7-Eleven Hawaii is rolling out a special treat for customers with a delightful revamp of its sought-after sandwiches. 7-Eleven Hawaii has joined forces with La Tour Bakehouse to bring better breads, and the local convenience store is excited about this new venture that will give customers an elevated tasting experience.

The new breads are baked fresh daily by La Tour Bakehouse and use all natural ingredients, have no chemicals and are never frozen. The wheat bread also includes 125 percent more wheat flour.

There is a wide variety of sandwiches, including chicken, tuna and egg salads, and even these fillings have been improved. In addition to the salad recipes now mixing Best Foods Mayonnaise — the preferred choice among locals — the Chicken Salad texture is amped up by using diced chicken rather than ground, and celery is added. Meanwhile, the Egg Salad takes it up a notch with bigger pieces of egg.

These delicious and better-for-you upgrades launch Monday, May 6 on Oahu. What’s more, 7-Eleven Hawaii presents a special deal during that week for its Oahu customers — the purchase of a triangle sandwich at regular retail will be accompanied by a $2 coupon for the purchase of another triangle sandwich on the next visit. Coupons will be distributed at time of purchase May 6-12 and will be valid through the end of May.
