Japanese Restaurant Aki is a little gem tucked away from the busy streets of Waialae Avenue where diners can escape to a charming locale to sit back, relax and enjoy the comforts of Japan right here in Hawaii.

Within a comfy Japanese dining room filled with wooden chairs and warm accents, fill up on an array of delights during Aki’s Happiest Hour. This happy hour menu offers rejuvenating bites and sippers daily (except Tuesdays) from 4 to 6 p.m.

Yakitori ($5.50 for three, happy hour)

Stop in and discover the nearly three dozen food and drink items that include Japanese omelet, sushi and rolls, agedashi, oden and more. Yakitori skewers are also available and are fresh off the grill, and in view of every seat in the house.

Drinks include five categories with Beer, Shocu High Ball and Others (like Skyy Vodka and Choya) priced at $4, while Japanese Sake and Wines are $8 and $6, respectively.
