If you’ve ever tried a Yellow Cab Pizza Co. pie, you already know what sets the delicious slices apart from the rest.
“With other pizzas, the toppings stop one inch before the edge and there’s a thick crust,” says general manager Maly San Luis. “On our pizzas, the toppings go all the way to the edge.”
Yellow Cab’s festive Four Seasons Pizza ($11.95 10-inch, $15.95 14-inch and $19.95 18-inch) is perfect for holiday gatherings, as it includes four scrumptious sections — pepperoni-loaded NY Classic, No. 4 Cheese (mozzarella, cheddar, Parmesan and feta), Barbecue Chicken (topped with red onions and cilantro), and Roasted Garlic Shrimp (white wine butter sauce, onion and roasted garlic).
“Our standard cut is eight slices, but for parties we can cut it into 12 or 16, or square cuts for snack size,” notes San Luis.
With an assortment of salad, pasta and chicken wing platters, Yellow Cab can supply an array of treats for the holiday table. Those looking for a lighter bite can order a Salad Platter ($25.95, serves eight-10 people), which comes in three varieties — BBQ Chicken, Quinoa & Feta Cheese and the popular Chopped Salad, with chicken breast, salami, tomatoes, jicama, mozzarella, Italian basil, and house-made Romano vinaigrette.
“It’s light and refreshing,” says San Luis. “The jicama gives it crunch, and the salami and cheese give it extra flavor.”
Yellow Cab’s Wing Platter ($19.95) features 18 wings in either a Hot, BBQ, Korean BBQ, Honey Garlic, Mango Habanero or Garlic Parmesan flavor.
Made with your choice of spaghetti or penne, pasta platters feed eight-10 guests and are available in several varieties. The popular Charlie Chan Chicken Pasta ($34.95 for platter), similar to kung pao chicken, boasts shiitake mushrooms, roasted peanuts and green onions.
For the ultimate in convenience and value, Yellow Cab’s Party Package ($125) includes three 14-inch classic pizzas, four classic pastas, 10 sodas and 10 gelato ice creams (or one 14-inch dessert crisp).
