Creamy Penne Pasta with Sliced Prime Rib ($18.99)

Applebee’s Grill & Bar at Ka Makana Alii in Kapolei serves up a satisfying experience to hungry and thirsty customers. This lively eatery’s environment offers a bevy of hearty meal choices and other items including carefully concocted cocktails. Besides its convenient Kapolei location, which opened two years ago, the company also has another spacious restaurant at Pearlridge Center Uptown, which was established last year.

Some of the wildly popular items on these restaurants’ menu include French onion soup, ribs, which can be ordered in half or full racks, sirloin steaks and loaded potatoes.

Applebee’s is a great place to relax and socialize with family and friends because it has a friendly staff and festive ambience, including TVs throughout the restaurants for viewing sports games. Additionally, there’s always something for everyone on the diverse menu, including kid-friendly meals. Currently the restaurants are in the process of being festively decorated in time for Halloween — they plan to hand out candy on the evening of Oct. 31.

Three-Cheese Chicken Pasta ($17.99)

One of the yummy new dishes that will be available at both Applebee’s Grill & Bar locations on Oahu is Three-Cheese Chicken Pasta ($17.99). This dish features penne pasta coated in a savory, rich cream sauce consisting of Asiago, Parmesan and white cheddar cheese. The cheesy pasta also is topped with a juicy chicken breast, bruschetta tomatoes and Parmesan shavings.

A delizioso (Italian for delicious) item that only will be available at Applebee’s from Oct. 9 to Nov. 9 is Creamy Penne Pasta with Sliced Prime Rib ($18.99). The item boasts lip-smacking penne pasta and tender, thinly sliced prime rib tossed in a hearty, Parmesan cream mushroom sauce with sun-dried tomato. This awesome dish is finished with Parmesan cheese and parsley.

Both items are served with Apple-bee’s new delicious signature breadstick, brushed with garlic and parsley butter.
