Orange Chicken ($9.50)

If you’ll be attending a University of Hawaii or high school football game at Aloha Stadium, complete and complement the total experience by indulging in a pre- or post-game meal at Royal Palace Restaurant, which is located right across the sports arena at Stadium Mall.

For more than 30 years, the eatery has been satisfying hungry appetites with its abundant lunch and dinner buffets that feature 50 different items and include dessert, and a menu that offers more than a 100 delectable dishes all for a great price.

In fact, the restaurant offers so many choices, you’ll be guaranteed to find a mouth-watering dish that is sure to please your palate and quiet the grumbles of your stomach.

At Royal Palace, you’ll find seafood, chicken, vegetables, soups, noodles, sizzling dishes and so much more all in a spacious dining area that can accommodate parties, celebrations and gatherings of almost any size.

Short Ribs with Black Pepper Sauce ($13.95)

While you’re there, be sure to check out the restaurant’s daily specials, and don’t forget that you also can bring the flavorful party home, to the beach or any other venue with Royal Palace’s selection of party trays and party packages, which can feed anywhere from 15 to 40 people.

OFF-THE-HOOK ITEMS

Two of the restaurant’s most popular a la carte dishes that are served daily are Orange Chicken ($9.50) and Short Ribs with Black Pepper Sauce ($13.95).

Orange Chicken is made with tender cuts of poultry that are covered in flour and other spices before being deep-fried to a satisfying crisp. The perfectly cooked chicken is dressed in the restaurant’s special in-house orange sauce and served on a platter.

While Orange Chicken is on the menu, Short Ribs with Black Pepper Sauce is found on the restaurant’s white board, which features a selection of highlighted dishes.

Packed with tasty and generous pieces of short ribs, the dish also features green and red peppers, onions and green onions. This stir-fry is both pleasing to eyes and taste buds.

Royal Palace Restaurant is open daily from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. The restaurant’s lunch buffet ($13.95) is available from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and dinner buffet ($15.95) starts at 4:30 p.m. and ends about 8:30 p.m. Both buffets are all-you-can-eat and are held daily. Ask about available discounts for seniors, children and military.
