Happy Father’s Day! Celebrate Dad at Uncle’s Fish Market & Grill, where they’ve prepared a special Father’s Day surf ‘n’ turf menu along with two unique cocktails.

Available today only (June 17), enjoy the Father’s Day Fresh Catch ($59) consisting of rolled Maine lobster tail, hand seared diver scallops, sauteed jumbo shrimp and fresh mahi mahi, served with white rice and poached asparagus.

Prime Rib ($42)

Or if you’re craving meat, executive chef Geoffrey Arakawa has you covered with Prime Rib ($42, add lobster for additional $10), featuring a tender and juicy 12-ounce slice of USDA Prime rib served with your choice of white or brown rice, or french fries.

Also just for Father’s Day, try the Lychee Infused Local Fid Street Gin Martini ($12) or Bacon Bloody Mary ($12) with bacon infused Bulleit Bourbon Frontier Whiskey and a house-made bloody mary mix.

“We wanted to put a manly twist to it, so we added the bacon and the bourbon,” explains Brian McKelvey, director of restaurant operations.

Of course, you also can order from Uncle’s’ regular menu of fish and chips, appetizers, salads, poke, sashimi, tacos and signature entrees.

A favorite is Sushi Bowl ($25), a chirashizushi style bowl that can be ordered for yourself or shared family-style. The popular dish highlights a little bit of everything — sushi rice, fresh ahi, hamachi, house cured salmon sashimi, ama-ebi shrimp, ahi tartar and ikura, served with deep fried calamari and garnished with shiso and pickled ginger.

Located at Pier 38, just footsteps away from Honolulu Fish Auction, Uncle’s Fish Market & Grill offers a unique ocean-to-table dining experience, serving the freshest fish from Hawaiian waters and the highest-quality seafood in the Islands. A second location is expected to open in Pearlridge Center in December.

“The restaurant represents a feeling of comfort like you would feel when you go to your uncle’s,” notes McKelvey. “It’s also a tribute to our owner’s ‘uncles,’ (a group of legendary commercial fishermen) who have taught and raised him fishing through the years. With the fresh fish and great food, we also like to pride ourselves on service.”
