Strong as an ox
Grilled Avocado Toast is a fun bite that will fill you up with mixed greens, avocado, seared ahi and a smooth avocado mousse. It’s all drizzled with salsa verde that comprises shiso, mint, chives, parsley, lemon juice, olive oil and salt.
This Ume-Migos margarita is inspired by Via Gelato strawberry ume flavor. Its sweetness comes from plum liqueur, strawberry puree and ume, while it gets a refreshing bite from a pour of tequila.
One of the eatery’s three founders is associated with La Tour Cafe, so all of The Brilliant Ox’s fresh breads are provided by the cafe.
A tasty bone to pick
This dish rose in popularity, and rightly so, with its caramelized onion-whiskey puree smeared atop the bone and marrow that are then broiled to juicy, savory perfection.
Fluffed to perfection
This is not your ordinary set of eggs. Executive chef Brian Gremillion says they are stirred constantly while cooking to give them that extra soft consistency. Then they’re drizzled with cheddar fondue.
