Pagoda Floating Restaurant in Honolulu is offering a special on the buffet favorite — Dungeness Crab. Starting today, purchase two lunch or dinner buffets and receive a live Dungeness Crab, served steamed, for only $15.95 (promotion ends Feb. 28).
“We just want to wish everyone a happy lunar calendar Year of the Dog,” says general manager John Teruya. “I was able to get a really good deal on fresh Dungeness crab, so I wanted to thank our loyal customers, including the many generations of families that have been coming to Pagoda. This is our way of thanking them, and we hope they can enjoy this special.”
An island tradition for more than 50 years, the landmark restaurant is known for its tasty food, family-friendly setting and all-you-can-eat buffet for breakfast, lunch, dinner and Sunday Brunch. The menu, described as a local island-style mixed plate with Asian fusion touches, features a variety of rotating dishes, plus a Poke Bar and catch of the day.
Buffet prices are: Breakfast (7-9:30 a.m. daily) $13.95, $11.95 for seniors over 60, $5.95 for children 5-8 years old; lunch (10:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday-Saturday) $18.95, $15.95 for seniors, $7.95 for children; dinner (5-9 p.m. Monday-Thursday) $20.95, $16.95 for seniors, $8.95 for children; Sunday brunch (10 a.m.-2 p.m.) $38.95, $33.95 for seniors, $15.95 for children; and weekend dinner (5-9:30 p.m. Friday-Sunday) $40.95, $35.95 for seniors, $17.95 for children.
Pagoda also has built a morning following for its breakfast specials priced at just $5.99 (available 7-8:30 a.m. daily). Start your day with the Sunshine Breakfast consisting of a whole Hawaiian sausage, fried rice and two eggs any style; or the Pancake Special that comes with a jumbo pancake, three pieces of bacon and two eggs any style. There also is the Continental Breakfast, which has croissant, fruit, yogurt and granola.
On Fridays, enjoy a special themed Aloha Friday Hawaiian Lunch Buffet featuring kalua pig, lau lau, lomi salmon, poke, poi, sweet potato, haupia and more. Available from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Hawaiian buffet is $18.95 for adults and $15.95 for seniors over 60.
