Lobster Crostinis ($7 happy hour)

The holidays have come and gone, and so have your savings, which went toward presents and get-togethers with friends and family.

But don’t let your near-empty wallet stop you from enjoying a night out once in a while. Head to Wolfgang’s Steakhouse in Waikiki to feast on the restaurant’s stellar happy hour menu that won’t break the bank.

Known for its dry-aged steaks and elegant setting, Wolfgang’s Steakhouse offers its happy hour menu from 11 a.m. to 6:30 pm. daily in the bar area.

Mini Loco Moco ($7 happy hour)

General manager Bill Nickerson decided to expand the hours after noticing its popularity among visitors and locals, who would stand in line waiting to get a seat at the bar.

Among the selection, there are $5 draft beers, $7 martinis and $7 red and white wine specials, as well as pupus that vary from $7 to $10. So gather your friends for pau hana drinks and discounted food items.

Ahi Tartar ($7 happy hour)

On the menu, find steak and hamburger sliders, tenderloin medallions, and fan-favorite choices that are only $7 each, such as Ahi Tartar, which features fresh sashimi-grade ahi mixed with a house-made marinade and served on crostini; Lobster Crostinis, made with fresh lobster and mixed with a house-made marinade, then served on crostini with a side salad and house vinaigrette; and Mini Loco Moco.

Although petite, Mini Loco Moco packs big flavor starting with the grounded-in-house USDA Prime beef that’s served on a bed of rice and topped with an egg, then smothered with the eatery’s very own brown gravy.

What’s more, there also is Taste of New York ($44) on the menu, showcasing a 12-ounce New York sirloin steak, mashed potatoes and creamed spinach. And for dessert, a sampling of Junior’s World Famous Cheesecake.
