Planning a get-together to celebrate the holidays entails finding a restaurant that can accommodate everyone. Solve your dinner dilemmas by gathering the family for a night of Italian home cooking at Romano’s Macaroni Grill, which has something for all.

At the Ala Moana Center eatery, pasta is definitely the way to go. Indulge in Butternut Asiago Tortellacci ($17.95), which features four cheese-stuffed tortellacci topped with an Asiago cream sauce, butternut squash, prosciutto and Parmesan.

Mama’s Trio ($24.95)

Nawai Kekoolani, regional corporate chef of Macaroni Grill Hawaii, shares that the popular dish features crispy prosciutto, which adds a nice balance to the decadent cheese-filled tortellacci, along with a demi sauce that’s poured all over.

Perfect for the seafood-lover is Pasta Di Mare ($23.95), a traditional dish that’s abundant in seafood, according to Kekoolani. Dive into a bowl of scallops, mussels and jumbo shrimp paired with white wine, garlic, fettuccine and a pomodoro sauce.

If you’re having trouble narrowing down your selection, there’s Mama’s Trio ($24.95). The fan favorite includes chicken Parmesan, full-sized lasagna Bolognese and fettuccine Alfredo.

“(It’s) guaranteed that you will go home full, plus have leftovers,” says Kekoolani. “(And it’s) a little bit of everything.”

If you’re not a huge fan of pasta, don’t sweat it. The eatery offers a variety of options, such as salads, pizzas and steaks, like the popular Tuscan Ribeye ($27.95). This carnivorous dish includes a 12-ounce Angus beef that’s topped with Tuscan butter and served with roasted potatoes and grilled asparagus.

Further reason to head to Romano’s is the restaurant’s “Celebrate the Holidays” menu, offered from Dec. 1 to Jan. 1, 2018. Enjoy anti-pasti dishes, such as Calamari Fritti and Stuffed Mushrooms, as well as signature entrees, like Lobster Ravioli, Grilled Pork Chop, and a new Holiday Surf & Turf — featuring a grilled 12-ounce ribeye served with shrimp scampi, garlic mashed potatoes and roasted asparagus for $35.95.
