L&L Hawaiian Barbecue is a staple when it comes to ono plate-lunch cravings. And in recent news, the eatery launched something new last month. Online ordering is now available at two L&L locations — the Airport Trade Center and First Hawaiian Center (Downtown on Bishop Street).

L&L marketing director Brandon Dela Cruz says the online ordering process was designed to be quick and easy for customers to use. He states that the Airport Trade Center location is ideal for online ordering because it’s centrally located to the airport and surrounding industrial area. Dela Cruz also says that while online ordering is only currently available at these two franchises, it will hopefully spread to other L&L stores in the future.

KATSU CRAVINGS

Chicken Katsu ($10.45), Barbecue Mix ($12.95) and Mochiko Chicken (regular $10.25) are the most popular online orders for L&L Hawaiian Barbecue’s new ordering feature (only available at select locales). Chicken Katsu, however, still reigns as L&L’s best-selling item. Regular (instead of mini) orders come with two scoops of rice, a generous portion of tender, deep-fried, boneless chicken, a scoop of mac salad and the eatery’s famous, piquant katsu sauce. Currently, customers can take advantage of a 20 percent discount on their first online order.
