“We do a Grandparents Day Special to celebrate our kupuna and all they do for us,” says Wailana’s general manager Kenton Tom.

The restaurant will be offering several specials for today only, from 11 a.m. to midnight.

Roast Tom Turkey with Smoked Ham ($16.95)

Guests will be able to feast on Roast Tom Turkey with Smoked Ham ($16.95) served with a special macadamia nut stuffing and old-fashioned giblet gravy, and garnished with a grilled pineapple ring filled with cranberry sauce; and the all-time favorite Barbecue Hickory Smoked Ribs ($17.95), which is baked slowly so that each rib is so tender it falls off the bone, and served alongside baked beans.

Come in for a late breakfast or for lunch and enjoy Poached Mahi Mahi Florentine ($16.95), which combines freshly poached mahi-mahi fillet and spinach with diced bacon and onions, and is topped with a rich hollandaise sauce. Or opt for the restaurant’s breakfast special of Eggs Benedict Royal ($14) that has smoked ham, turkey breast and poached eggs smothered in hollandaise sauce on top of toasted English muffin and served with hash browns and glazed peaches.

Tom mentions that customers can expect a complete meal package: salad bar; choice of starch; corn on the cob; coffee, tea or soft drink; and dessert.

“Guests should visit Wailana Coffee House for great food, value and service,” says Tom. “We (also) offer catering for larger parties (both takeout and dine-in).”
