International House of Pancakes (IHOP) is no stranger to those who love breakfast. The company’s dishes serve the recognizable and iconic flavors of the most important meal of the day, and at its Waikiki location, you can find all the classics.

Breakfast Sampler ($14.49) is the one to go for if you like to have all of the essential breakfast elements on one plate.

Bacon Crusted Chicken Breast with Potato Hash ($16.99)

“Every time I’ve produced this dish, it’s been great. It’s one of our most popular items and definitely our biggest seller. Your eggs are there, your meat is there, and, for breakfast, it’s very filling, even at only 1,040 calories,” says vice president of operations, Khokon Haque, who has been with IHOP for more than 26 years.

The sampler offers an array of eggs (cooked however you prefer), bacon, pork sausage, ham, hash brown and pancakes.

A new item to try is Bacon Crusted Chicken Breast with Potato Hash ($16.99), which is loaded with flavor. Bacon-crusted grilled chicken is enhanced with pepper jack cheese, red potatoes and onion, all of which is cooked in a glaze of hollandaise sauce. It also is served with garlic bread.

Cheeseburger Sliders ($11.99)

“All kinds of breakfast favorites are in there. It’s like a deconstructed burrito,” explains Haque, of the potato hash.

Stop by for lunch, too, and try IHOP’s new Cheeseburger Sliders ($11.99). Three 100-percent USDA Choice beef patties are topped with American cheese, lettuce, tomato and onion. The sliders are served with your choice of onion rings or fries.
