When gathering family and friends to celebrate a special event, whether it be a union in marriage or a milestone birthday, it’s imperative to have a customized menu of delicious food to match the importance of the occasion.

House of Wong Restaurant understands this, and that’s why the authentic Cantonese eatery has created five party menus for customers looking for just the right mix of flavors to mark their most memorable moments.

Party menu prices range from $199 to $399 per table of 10, and are ideal for everything from graduation parties to baby showers and business functions. There is room for flexibility on the banquet menus, as well, in case patrons want to add house-favorites like Crispy Gau Gee or Honey Glazed Spare Ribs to their spread.

“The dining room can fill up to 110 people,” says co-owner Michael Wang, adding that “this is a very clean and comfortable environment — we pay attention to detail. We don’t just want to bring customers here, we want to make the dining room comfortable and enjoyable for them.”

To get a taste of the party-ready fare, consider the menu priced at $399 per table, which offers Sauteed Fresh Scallops and Chicken with Greens, Live Maine Lobsters, Golden Crispy Chicken, six other entrees and dessert.

Keep in mind that it doesn’t have to be a special occasion for guests to enjoy dining at the Kapahulu restaurant. Lunchtime is busy with regulars eager to take advantage of daily specials served from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. With prices starting at $7.95, the lunch specials include Chicken with Cashew Nut, Beef Broccoli Cake Noodle, Mapo Tofu and more.
