HERO

The rounded exterior of House of Wong Restaurant is just one unique and memorable facet of the Kapahulu Chinese eatery. There’s also the expansive dining area, capable of hosting exclusive parties (up to 100 guests) and large family dinners, and the neatly arranged pastel green napkins that adorn each table.

Most unforgettable, however, would have to be House of Wong’s cuisine, which includes game changers such as Roast Honey Glazed Spare Ribs ($15.95). Other notable favorites include items from the newly revamped lunch special menu, such as the healthier option of Tofu Salad with Cashew Nuts, as well as the list of standouts available on the extensive banquet menus.

Starting at $199 (per table), banquet menus feature the restaurant’s best items through different 10-course arrangements. Depending on customers’ preferences, the menus go up to $399 in price, offering even more elaborate dishes with each escalating option. And don’t forget to make your reservations for larger parties ahead of time, especially with graduation season just around the corner.

As for parking, never fear. With on-site, ample street, First Hawaiian Bank (after bank hours) and validated Hee Hing Plaza parking available, patrons will never miss an opportunity to indulge in House of Wong’s traditional Chinese cuisine.
