Escape the rush of Downtown Honolulu by enjoying your next meal at Pagoda Floating Restaurant. As soon as you step into the Japanese-garden setting, you’ll feel relaxed thanks to its lush greenery and serene koi pond. Then, you’ll want to enter the restaurant to indulge in a wide array of allyou-can-eat local fare.

In fact, Pagoda’s environment is so welcoming that you’ll surely be tempted to start your day there. The saying “breakfast is the most important meal of the day” rings true every morning from 7 to 8:30 a.m., when the restaurant offers a choice of three breakfast specials for just $5.99.

Options include Sunshine Breakfast — served with a “smile” made out of fried rice, two eggs any style and an entire Portuguese sausage — Pancake Special, highlighting one large pancake, two eggs and three pieces of bacon; and Continental Breakfast, which includes assorted fresh fruit, yogurt and a freshly baked croissant.

“We’re hoping that early in the day, everyone enjoys that first, best meal,” says general manager John Teruya.

Pagoda’s buffet is another offering loved by patrons, who are welcome to sink their teeth into fresh seafood, roasted meats and a plethora of Asian-inspired favorites. Now is the perfect time to take advantage of the buffet because the February Special “Be My

Guest” has been extended until Feb. 28. With every purchase of two adult buffets ($17.95 lunch, $19.95 dinner), guests will receive a complimentary Roasted Prime Rib and Snow Crab Leg Platter. Both the prime rib and crab legs are cooked to perfection and are served with horseradish, au jus and butter.

Teruya reminds readers that this special is offered while supplies last and cannot be combined with other offers. Readers simply need to mention this article in order to take advantage of this prime special.
