Life is sweet at Fendu Boulangerie, the charming Manoa Marketplace bakeshop offering an array of appetite-pleasing fare.

Since opening in 2009, the neighborhood eatery has been catering locals with the best of European-style eats ranging from pastries, breads and sandwiches to pizzas and desserts. Because Fendu’s creations are baked fresh every day, patrons can enjoy wafts of its enticing aromas and sink their teeth into a sweet taste of heaven.

One mouthwatering temptation is Lychee Caramel Flan, a seconds-worthy delight that satisfies even the pickiest of dessert fanatics. You won’t be able to resist its rich, creamy texture accented with refreshing lychee and other fruits on top.

“People that like a classic flan really like this because the lychee adds a nice element to it,” says owner and chef Niel Koep.
