A CLOSER LOOK AT THIS WEEK’S HOUSE SPECIAL: Eggs Benedict with Kalua Pork & Crabcake ($19.95)

What could be better than soaking in a Hawaiian sunset overlooking a boat harbor? Enjoying it along with a delicious meal! You can’t go wrong when choosing Cinnamon’s at the Ilikai to cater to your lingering appetite. Situated on the ground floor of Ilikai Hotel and Suites — with its original residence in Kailua — the beloved establishment long has been an island favorite serving up the best of home-style cooking for more than 30 years. “Ingredients are made from scratch; everything’s fresh,” says chef and part-owner Carsie Green.

And coming in fresh as it’s made is Eggs Benedict with Kalua Pork & Crabcake. This full-sized order is served super combo-style with Kalua Pork and Crabcake beneath a poached egg, spinach and tomato, all atop two English muffins with a pour-over of Cinnamon’s tasty Hollandaise sauce.

Patrons can order the dish as a half-size (one muffin), without the combo or even “omelette style.” For all eggs benedict dishes, hungry customers can choose from a wide selection of options, such as Turkey and Canadian Bacon, Veggie, Kalua Pork, Crabcake, Lox, Mahi Mahi and Shrimp and Asparagus.
