High-quality dining hits its peak at Five Star International Buffet, conveniently located in Waikiki’s Royal Hawaiian Center.
Take a seat and enjoy a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere while feasting on a buffet designed for royalty.
While the restaurant’s lunch and dinner buffets are impressive in their own rights, the dessert buffet is the perfect way to top off your meal. Who can resist these delicious bite-sized morsels of goodness?

For chocolate lovers, Chocolate Cake with chocolate ganache fits the bill.
“It (Chocolate Cake) is made in the standard chiffon style,” explains kitchen manager Zachary Key. “It’s glazed with chocolate ganache, which is made with dark chocolate.”
And Passion Fruit Tartlets feature a nice helping of passion juice and a homemade graham cracker crust.
According to Key, his favorite dessert is Tiramisu.
“It’s prepared with island coffee and marscapone cheese,” he says. “The taste is very light — it’s catered more toward our Japanese customers. The tiramisu has a nice coffee taste.”
Key is quick to note that Creme Brulee is another one of the establishment’s most popular treats.
Five Star International Buffet’s kamaaina and military discounts are well received, and the restaurant also is adding a senior (60 years-old and older) discount, which offers 25 percent off the dinner buffet price ($48). Seniors also receive a complimentary soft drink during lunch ($19, buffet), as do kamaaina and military.
Also, keiki ages 8 to 12 can enjoy a buffet feast priced at $24 for dinner and $12 for lunch. (There’s no cost for children under the age of 4.)
Thankfully, each dessert comes in relatively small portions, so don’t be afraid to try a bit of everything.
