With all the shopping, wrapping and holiday hosting you will be doing this month, why not let someone else handle the cooking? Chef Chai is rolling out the red carpet this Christmas season with its Special Christmas Eve Dinner ($67, Early Bird Special $55 before 5 p.m.).

Whet your appetite with Fresh Corn and Green Onion Muffin and Sweet Lilikoi Margarine, followed by Oyster and Foie Gras Pot de Creme and Ginger Dashi Broth. Don’t stop now — a crisp salad of Roasted Red Beet, Puna Goat Cheese, Oven Dried Kamuela Cherry Tomato Caprese and Gravlax Salmon Tartar with Caper Berries and Fresh Dill is sure to satisfy as an introduction into entree.

For the main dish, choose from Deconstructed Beef Tenderloin Wellington or Grilled Vegetable Wellington with Spicy Tomato Coulis. And just when you think things just couldn’t get any better, Santa sends some sweets from his snowy workshop, so be sure to save room for either Mini Chocolate Yule Log Cakes with Fresh Berries or an English Trifle treat. Select items from this mouth-watering menu also are available a la carte if a full-course feast isn’t your fancy. Chef Chai will make this year’s a very Mmmmerry Christmas!
