It’s so gratifying to know you’re doing something right. More and more these days we’re hearing about how important it is to eat a variety of vegetables daily — the more colors the better for maximum health benefits.

But that’s no problem for veggie lovers. The more the better. Bring it on!

Serving authentic Japanese cuisine seven days a week for more than two decades, Sushi King offers everything from an amazing variety of fresh sushi and daily selections at the sushi bar to complete authentic Japanese dinners. It’s the real thing at Sushi King.

So what’s here to tempt veggie lovers’ taste buds? Japan’s gift to Hawaii: tempura. Done right, tempura is light and crisp, not at all limp or greasy.

And Sushi King does it right.

Vegetable Tempura ($16.95 a la carte) is a generous portion of crisp-tender carrots, broccoli, eggplant, zucchini and sweet potatoes perfect for sharing. For those with smaller appetites, a half portion is only $9.50, and it’s still a plateful of taste-tempting goodness. You also can order the full dinner ($22.95), which includes chiso, nori, mushrooms and more and is served with an appetizer, salad, tonjiru miso soup (made with pork), rice and pickles.

A variety of fresh vegetables cooked to crispy perfection? Yield to the temptation.
