After more than 14 years in business, Chai’s Island Bistro in Aloha Tower Marketplace will officially close its doors tomorrow (make your reservations now).

Owned and operated by celebrity chef Chai Chaowasaree, Chai’s Island Bistro is renowned for its award-winning Pacific Rim cuisine, which is always prepared with aloha and served with exquisite presentation.

And although loyal patrons are saddened by the news of the restaurant’s closing, Chaowasaree is ready to take advantage of 2013 with new opportunities. He will open a new restaurant on the ground floor of Honolulu Pacifica Building (1009 Kapiolani Blvd.) early next year. According to Chaowasaree, the restaurant will focus on healthier cuisine.
