Adega Portuguesa Restaurant & Bar ups the ante when it comes to alluring diners with its mouth-watering Portuguese and Brazilian cuisine. Owner Trigo da Silva opened the doors to this Chinatown hot spot on Smith Street this past February with the hopes of giving local diners an authentic taste of Portugal.
- Vinho D’alhos ($19)
- Carne de Porco Adega ($18)
The restaurant prides itself on a number of dishes including Vinho D’alhos, pork loin marinated in a vinegar-garlic sauce and served with fried potatoes and sauteed mixed vegetables. Another signature entree is Carne de Porco Adega, a traditional Portuguese dish which features pork and clams with fried potatoes, cilantro and meat sauce. Also, be sure to savor the flavors of Caldo Verde, a Portuguese national soup comprised of potatoes, onions, kale and chourico sausage, as well as the classic Portuguese Bean Soup.
Starting today, Adega is offering a week-long special — order anything off of the regular menu and receive 15 percent off.
