Blue Hawaii Sushi is located in the new Pearl City Gateway shopping area across from Wal-Mart, and serves up great food for even better prices.

From 4 to 6 p.m., the restaurant offers early-bird speicals on some of its dishes.

Dining Out caught up with Claire Tabiolo and Henry, Chaydon and Cheyann Agos for dinner one evening at the convenient Pearl City location. The family was sharing the Fish (masa) of the Day ($10.95, $7.95 early-bird special) and Teriyaki Combo ($13.95, $10.95 early-bird special).

Claire Tabiolo: “It was my fist time eating here, but we got the Fish of the Day. It was tasty.”

Henry Agos: “It’s good — different since we usually eat meat a lot. We also got the Teriyaki Combo with steak and chicken.”

Chaydon Agos: “The food is good and I like the (teriyaki) sauce.”

Cheyann Agos: “I like the rice and the teriyaki chicken.”
