For almost 50 years Kenny’s Restaurant, located in Kamehameha Shopping Center, has been the perfect place to get together with family and friends for a great meal.

Dining Out was fortunate to catch up with Randall Harakal, DJ Watson and Chantal Moearii Weaver for lunch one afternoon. The group enjoys the restaurant, as well as the friendly customer servce and welcoming atmosphere.

Randall Harakal: “I’m eating the Loco Moco ($10.55) since they serve breakfast 24 hours here. They also have stuff on their menu that you can’t find anywhere else, like their fish menu. They have all kinds of fresh fish. And the atmosphere is really casual.”

Chantal Moearii Weaver: “I’m having the Oxtail Soup ($15.75). I like the broth, I like the vegtables and the ginger with the shoyu sauce, and the peanuts and cilantro, as well!”

DJ Watson: “I’m having the Yakitori Chicken ($13.75) for the first time. I usually do the Akule or the Chinese Chicken Salad, but I wanted to try this. The chicken is very good. It’s tasty and tender.”
