For more than 25 years, A Catered Experience has served Hawaii’s families with excellent customer service and great food.
And we all know that local folks like to throw big parties with tons of delicious grinds.
Conveniently located in the Central Oahu area of Waipio Gentry, A Catered Experience also utilizes Hawaii Okinawa Center’s Legacy Ballroom, making it a premier venue that can seat up to 800 guests. (Legacy Ballroom also has cuisine specially selected for that location.)
Better yet, if your party isn’t that big, the ballroom can be divided into Legacy I Ballroom (seats 200-350) and Legacy II Ballroom (seats 125-200).
It just goes to show that A Catered Experience will do whatever it takes to accommodate your needs and make sure your special event goes smoothly.
Like many families who have potlucks at the beach, A Catered Experience will be there for you, too!
Customers can pick up dishes themselves or have them delivered (minimum order of $150 before tax; delivery fees apply) hot and ready to eat.
Also, funeral orders receive free delivery with a minium order for 100 guests. Funeral menus range in price from $4.75 to $9.50 per person.
The food establishment uses the freshest ingredients that are prepared with excellence, and customers can choose from pre-set menus or a customized one.
The “create your own menu” selections include beef, pork, poultry and seafood entrees, and appetizers, desserts, salads and starches. And with the vast selection (almost 200 food items), there’s something everyone will love!
Choices include Meat Jun, Beef Broccoli, Kalua Pig, Chicken Lau Lau, Lobster, Chicken Long Rice, Squid Luau, Fish Tempura and London Broil for entrees, and Chilled Cocktail Shrimp, Tako Poke, Chips and Salsa, Hot Artichoke Dip and Meatballs for appetizers.
If you’re planning a special event from the beginning of January to the end of April next year, keep in mind that A Catered Experience also is offering a special promotion where customers can take 10 percent off the food price from Sunday nights to Friday nights.
“Every so often we have a special where we do this,” says caterine manager Ron Hattori. “It’s harder for clients, I guess it’s like tax time, so we give them a break.”
If you, as a client, want something different than what’s offered on the menu, A Catered Experience is more than happy to work with you.
Lunch and dinner menus range in price from $6.95 to $11.75 per person. Hawaiian menus range from $9.75 to $17.95 per person. Breakfast menus cost anywhere from $6.95 to $8 per person.
And if you’re looking for something lighter, bento menus are anywhere from $4.95 to $9.25 per person and pupu menus range from $6.75 to $15 per person.
We live in a day and age where a typical plate lunch costs from $6 to $8, and you normally get only two choices. But with A Catered Experience, you pay the same amount and get a plethora of choices.
For the Lunch/Dinner Menu B, customers can dine on Meat Jun with Meat Jun Sauce, BBQ Boneless Teriyaki Chicken, Breaded Hoki with Tartar Sauce, Steamed White Rice, Tossed Salad with Dressing and Potato Macaroni Salad (all for $8.75 a person).
